Aisha Fashion World is a bridal, modest-fashion and occasion-wear brand founded by Aisha Ahmed in 2011.
Our story began with my own search for a wedding dress in Qatar. It grew through the trust of brides from around the world and is now entering a new chapter in my motherland, Kenya.
Aisha Fashion World was built on a simple but powerful belief: every woman deserves to feel heard, understood and beautifully represented.

From Bride to Founder
Before I became a bridal designer and business owner, I was a bride with a dream.
While preparing for my own wedding in Qatar, I knew how I wanted to look and feel. I wanted a dress that reflected my personality, culture and preferred level of modesty, but finding everything I imagined in one gown was difficult.
I did not want to settle for a dress that was merely available. I wanted something personal—something that felt like it had been created for me.
That experience gave birth to the custom-made heart of Aisha Fashion World.
I realised that many brides carry a beautiful vision but do not always have the opportunity to express it. They may love the silhouette of one gown, the sleeves of another and the fabric or detailing of something entirely different.
They need more than a salesperson. They need someone who will listen.
My search as a bride became my purpose as a founder: to give women the opportunity to bring their dream dresses to life through a thoughtful, collaborative and step-by-step experience.
Bringing a Dream Dress to Life
At Aisha Fashion World, custom-made bridal design begins with the bride’s story.
We listen to her ideas, preferences, cultural requirements and concerns. Inspiration photographs, sketches, mood boards and fabric samples help us understand what she loves and how she imagines herself on her wedding day.

Qatar is home to an extraordinary international community. Living and working there gave us the privilege of meeting beautiful women and beautiful souls from across the world.
We welcomed brides from Qatar and the wider Middle East, Kenya and other parts of Africa, Europe, Asia, the Americas and Australia.
Every bride brought a different culture, ceremony, personality and understanding of beauty. Some imagined regal ball gowns with dramatic trains. Others preferred elegant civil wedding dresses, fitted silhouettes, modest long-sleeved gowns or several coordinated looks for different celebrations.
It was a true honour to become part of their journeys.
Seeing each bride walk down the aisle feeling happy, confident and beautiful gave meaning to everything we did. Their joy became our joy, and their special moments became part of the journey and history of Aisha Fashion World.
Their photographs, reviews, recommendations and returning family members helped our business grow. More importantly, their trust taught us that bridal fashion is not only about creating a dress—it is about caring for the woman wearing it.

“Our Bride, Our Pride” is more than a slogan.
It is our promise to listen carefully, respect each bride’s individuality and take genuine pride in her happiness.
A bride may forget some of the small details of wedding planning, but she will remember how she felt when she finally saw herself in her complete bridal look.
We want that moment to be filled with confidence, happiness and recognition—the feeling that the woman in the mirror is still herself, only more radiant.

Qatar Remains Part of Our Story
Qatar is not simply where Aisha Fashion World began—it remains an important part of our identity, community and future.
As we begin a new chapter in Kenya, our relationship with Qatar continues. Selected bridal-gown rentals remain available, while bridal alterations and tailoring can be arranged by appointment through a trusted tailoring partner with whom we have worked for many years. Home-service appointments may also be available, depending on location and availability.

We are not closing our Qatar chapter. Insha’Allah, we are expanding the Aisha Fashion World story—bringing our experience from Qatar to Kenya while continuing to support our valued clients in Qatar.
Bringing Our Experience Home to Kenya
After more than a decade of serving an international bridal community in Qatar, I am proud to bring this experience home to Kenya.
This is not simply a relocation. It is a continuation of everything our brides taught us about service, culture, fit, modesty and the emotional importance of fashion.
Our vision is to establish Aisha Fashion World in Kitengela as a professional, welcoming destination for bridal, modest and occasion fashion.
We want to combine international presentation and Middle Eastern fashion experience with an authentic understanding of African women, cultures, celebrations and budgets.
From Kenya, we will continue welcoming enquiries from Qatar, across Africa and around the world.

Aisha Modest: My Hijab, My Pride
Aisha Modest is another deeply personal part of my story.
As a Muslim woman who wears hijab, modesty is not a fashion trend I recently discovered. It is part of my faith, identity and daily life.
My years in the Middle East allowed me to experience modest fashion in many beautiful forms—from elegant abayas and kaftans to coordinated sets, flowing dresses and sophisticated occasion looks.
I learned that modest fashion can be contemporary, expressive, luxurious and full of personality.
Through Aisha Modest, I want to bring that experience to my motherland and share it with women globally.
